Progress has been made on all fronts with the site team working well and committed to the programme. Windows have caused us some issues with poor performance the manufacturer, this has impacted to plots 1 & 2 but not the rest of the properties. Focus has therefore been made to drive the first fix on the others and bring forward the ground works and garages.

All foul drainage has been completed including connection to the main sewer. Kerbs and stoning up is now underway. This will allow top soil to be distributed and landscaping in due course.

The soil is a combination of sand and gravel and tests have proved the ground to have good permeability, there has been a lot of rain over recent weeks but the site is dry. Soakaways have been designed and now installed to all plots to harvest the surface water run offs.

Our lender visited site with the monitoring QS recently and both are happy with the progress of the development and the quality of the workmanship. We have to thank our site team for working so well together and the excellent standard they deliver to the site and the new properties.

Currently we have Western Power on site connecting us to the power network, meters will be installed next week to allow power and heating in all plots. As we work towards Christmas, windows and doors will be installed and heating on to assist the drying out before the precious items of 2nd fix joinery, stairs and kitchens are installed.
